Special Counsel Robert Mueller will likely hear the details of President Donald Trump's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and potentially even a recording of it, according to CNN legal analyst Ross Garber.

Garber, an attorney and impeachment expert at Tulane Law School, tweeted Monday morning that Trump's lawyers presumably told him before the meeting that Russia will record it, and that anyone with knowledge of what was said, including the translator, will be debriefed by Mueller's team.

After the meeting, Trump once again blasted the investigation in remarks to reporters.

"The probe is a disaster for our country. I think it's kept us apart. It's kept us separated. There was no collusion at all. Everybody knows it," he said, according to Politico.

"That was a clean campaign. I beat Hillary Clinton easily… It's a shame that there could even be a little bit of a cloud over it. People know that."

Garber has represented multiple governors facing impeachment, including Gov. Robert Bentley of Alabama, Gov. John Rowland of Connecticut, Gov. Mark Sanford of South Carolina and most recently Gov. Eric Greitens of Missouri. He also ran for Connecticut attorney general, unsuccessfully, as a Republican.
