After Mitt Romney hosts a meeting with GOP presidential contenders Chris Christie and Marco Rubio, he'll head to the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, to sit down with candidate Jeb Bush,
the Washington Post reports.
The lunch meeting is set for the coming week, according to the Post.
"Governor and Mrs. Romney look forward to visiting with Governor Jeb Bush and his family at Walker's Point this coming week," an unnamed Romney aide tells the Post, while a Bush aide confirmed the meeting.
The Romneys spend much of the summer at their family spread on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, N.H., where New Jersey Gov. Christie
was set to spend the night Friday.
Bloomberg News reports Florida Sen. Rubio also is staying at the Romney summer home, and both Christie and Rubio are expected to march in Wolfeboro's July Fourth parade.
The 2012 GOP presidential nominee insisted last month he wouldn't endorse a 2016 contender before a nominee is selected.
"I think there are probably six, or seven, or eight that I would look at and say that’s somewhere where they and I agree on major issues and they could be an effective President of the United States," Romney said,
Time reports.
"And how it will sort out among those people, time will tell."
