Former Vice President Mike Pence spoke for the most time during Wednesday's Republican presidential debate, clocking in at 12 minutes and 37 seconds, according to The New York Times.
Pence was followed by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy at 11 minutes and 47 seconds, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 11 minutes and 22 seconds, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 10 minutes and 22 seconds. No other candidate spoke for more than 10 minutes.
Nikki Haley, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, spoke for eight minutes and 41 seconds, Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., spoke for eight minutes and 15 seconds, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum spoke for eight minutes, and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson spoke for seven minutes and 33 seconds.
The Times also found that abortion was the topic that received the most air time at seven minutes and 54 seconds, followed by former President Donald Trump at six minutes and 50 seconds, and the candidates' credentials at six minutes and 27 seconds.
President Joe Biden was the individual who received the most attacks during the debate, with 14, followed by Trump and Ramaswamy, who were directly criticized six times by other candidates.
