Huckabee: Hillary an 'Extraordinary Distraction' for Dems

Hillary Clinton has become an impediment for Democrats, according to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

"I can't think of anything better for [President] Donald Trump's re-election than for Hillary to throw her hat in the ring. Democrats are asking her to get off the stage. If they could find a hook big enough to get her off the stage they would. She is providing an extraordinary distraction to them trying to find a message, which by the way, they haven't found yet," Huckabee said Tuesday on Fox News' "America's Newsroom."

"I would be delighted" if Clinton ran for president in 2020, Huckabee added.

The former Republican candidate for president then pointed to a number of reasons that he believes Clinton lost the election.

"She lost because she disrespected coal miners in Kentucky and West Virginia, and called people across America a basket of deplorables and disparaged religious people. You can't expect people to say 'I would like to vote for that person who thinks I'm a total zero,'" Huckabee said.

"She lost because she is out of touch with the majority of the people in this country," Huckabee said.
