Fifty-five percent of Michigan voters favor presumptive Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden, compared to 39% who back President Donald Trump, according to the latest EPIC-MRA poll.
The poll, released to the Detroit Free Press, was conducted while another EPIC-MRA survey in Michigan was also underway.
The latest poll was started on May 31 – a day after a first poll began and was completed on June 4 – a day later than the first poll.
The first poll showed Biden leading by 12 points, while the latest poll has Biden ahead by 16 points.
Here are highlights from the latest Michigan poll.
- 70% say the country is headed in the wrong direction, while 22% say it is headed in the right direction.
- 61% say they have a negative view of Trump, compared to 38% who had a positive view.
- 51% say they would vote to replace Trump in November, while 33% say they would vote to reelect him.
The latest poll surveyed 600 people. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
