A new poll of likely Utah voters for Republican Rep. Mia Love's campaign show the incumbent holding a 17-point lead over her Democratic challenger, Doug Owens.
Here are the results, released Wednesday by
Y2 Analytics in Salt Lake City, of 300 voters:
- Love: 51 percent.
- Owens: 36 percent.
- Constitution Party candidate Collin Simonsen: 4 percent.
The results differed from a June survey of 573 likely voters conducted by
The Salt Lake Tribune:
- Owens: 51 percent.
- Love: 45 percent.
The Y2 Analytics survey was conducted July 7-12 and has a margin of error of 5.7 percent.
The Tribune's polling was executed June 2-8, with a 4.2 percent margin.
