Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly's prime-time special on the network has been moved up nearly a week, the cable network said Friday, and she reportedly is hoping to secure an interview with Donald Trump for the show.
Kelly's special — "Megyn Kelly Presents" — has been moved up to May 17, from May 23, according to Fox. Roger Ailes, the company’s chairman, will be the show's senior executive producer.
Trump and Kelly spoke for about an hour this week at Trump Tower in New York City. Kelly said the meeting was "a chance to clear the air,"
The New York Times reports.
Kelly's special would be carried just before the premiere of a new dating reality show, "Coupled," created by Mark Burnett, according to the report.
Burnett created "The Apprentice," which established Trump as a television star.
