McCain said that her new late-night political show, due out later this spring on the Pivot cable channel, should help foster greater understanding of the demographic — especially as the fall congressional elections approach. She also had a reality show, "Raising McCain," on Pivot.
Millennials — people born in the early 1980s to the early 2000s — are fiscally conservative, yet socially liberal, she told Time.
"Washington is not having a nuanced conversation about young people," she said.
