Business executive Martin Shkreli is backing away from his support of Donald Trump, saying Monday night he would only vote for the real estate mogul if "someone put a gun to my head and made me vote."
Shkreli, whom Trump once called a
"spoiled brat," said last week he supports Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton. On Memorial Day, however, the former CEO of two pharmaceutical companies said he "would never vote for Trump."
Shkreli drew criticism last year when he raised the price of a critical, life-saving drug to treat cancer and AIDS from $1,700 per bottle to $75,000. He is currently in a legal battle over
fraud charges stemming from his time as a hedge fund manager. He is the co-founder of the MSMB Capital Management hedge fund.
