Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn on Tuesday took aim at her peers in Congress, saying constituents are "disgusted" with the lawmakers representing them, not the party.
Blackburn, R-Tenn., told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" that Republican senators need to "show some spine" on healthcare.
"People think Congress has lost its way, not the party and not the party principles," Blackburn told the morning show. "It is the members of Congress; they come to D.C. but they don't deliver the product. And what people want to see right now is action.
"People are tired of talk, they don't want it; what they want is to get this country back on the right track. They elected Donald Trump; my job is to make certain he is the most successful president he can possibly be for the good of the country."
Blackburn says she hears from constituents who say they are "completely disgusted" with the failure of lawmakers to get a healthcare bill passed.
"The Senate needs to show some spine," said Blackburn, echoing a sentiment she made Monday, too.
"They need to come back to the table. They need to pass something on getting to conference with us on this healthcare bill," Blackburn said.
