PP Polling: Voters Think Trump Lies, Want Him Impeached

More than half of American voters think President Donald Trump is a liar and almost half support him being impeached, according to the results of a new poll.

Results from the Public Policy Polling survey:

• 53 percent said Trump is a liar, something former FBI Director James Comey said last week.
• 49 percent said Trump committed obstruction of justice, while 41 percent said the opposite.
• The vote was split at 42 percent on whether or not voters think members of Trump's campaign colluded with Russia.
• 47 percent support impeaching Trump, while 43 percent oppose doing so.

Some Trump critics are capitalizing on Comey's testimony last week by calling for the president to be impeached. There are also several ongoing investigations looking into whether Trump's campaign colluded with Russia.

The results of a separate poll show Comey is more trustworthy than Trump.
