Bernie Kerik to Newsmax TV: Democratic Party Should be Investigated for Attempted Coup

By    |   Friday, 06 November 2020 05:59 PM EST

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik on Friday suggested the Democratic Party needed to be investigated for its ''attempted coup'' of President Donald Trump.

''This is something they’re going to look at as well. It’s the overall Democratic Party and who was leading this attempted coup, if you will, another one, another attempt at the president, by rigging the election,'' Kerik said during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s ''American Agenda.''

''That’s pretty much what they’ve done.''

Kerik, who went to federal prison for tax fraud and lying to the government, was pardoned by Trump earlier this year.

He says the president is being robbed of a reelection.

''The voter fraud, the threats, the intimidation is overwhelming. Thousands of complaints have been forwarded to the Department of Justice in Nevada; we have lawsuits being prepared in Pennsylvania, Georgia and other states,'' he said from Trump headquarters in Virginia.

''It’s going to be a process but I’m confident that the good votes, the real votes, the votes that should be tabulated, they will come out victorious for the president. The problem we have is we’re going to have go back through this and we’ll probably have to go through the courts to get it done. ''
