Republican Brian Kemp and Democrat Stacey Abrams are locked in a tie in the final days of the Georgia governor’s race, a new poll by Channel 2 Action News & The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reveals.
Abrams was favored by 46.9 percent of likely voters, while Kemp was backed by 46.7 percent, according to the poll.
Libertarian candidate Ted Metz was supported by 1.6 percent of likely voters. In addition, 4.8 percent of those polled were undecided in the race.
The survey, conducted Oct. 21-30, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. A total of 1,091 likely voters were polled in Georgia.
