The crusade to resist the first female presidential campaign manager to win the White House is continuing as Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is calling for Kellyanne Conway's resignation as White House senior counsel.

The call is coming via petition on CREW's website:

"Based on CREW complaints, the Office of Special Counsel has found that Kellyanne Conway's repeated violations of the Hatch Act by using her official position for partisan purposes warrant her removal from federal service. OSC's determination is unprecedented, but such egregious violations, and her expressed disdain for the law, make clear that her removal is necessary to preserve the rule of law.

"Conway must resign or be fired immediately."

The Hatch Act prohibits federal employees from participating in elections.

CREW's petition has garnered over 13K signatures and targets a goal of 25,600. This is not the first complaint from CREW against Conway, according to The Hill.

"Kellyanne Conway must resign from her position as counselor to the president," the petition reads. "Her repeated and blatant violations of the Hatch Act demonstrate a clear disregard for ethical behavior and the rule of law. She must not be allowed to continue using her official role to attack the president's political opponents and to show an open disdain for federal law without consequences."

Conway's husband, George, has taken countless opportunities to bash President Trump and call out his administration via Twitter. He has taken no opportunity to bash, or even mention, his wife, however.
