A GOP lawmaker from Michigan took on Donald Trump on Twitter late Monday, calling out the president-elect for his foreign government ties the same way Trump called out Hillary Clinton for hers.

Justin Amash, 36, a five-year Rep., replied to an earlier Tweet from Trump and reminded him to #DrainTheSwamp.

This wasn't Amash's first rebuke of Trump. He also criticized the billionaire developer in early October after the release of the audiotape that caught Trump on a hot mic making lewd comments about women and his ability as a star to do whatever he wanted with them, including touching them without their permission.

Amash supported Sen. Ted Cruz during the GOP primary.
