Sen. Ron Johnson: Damage Being Done To US By Impeachment Inquiry

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., on Sunday decried the “damage” that’s being done to the United States by the House impeachment inquiry.

In an interview on NBC News’ “Meet The Press,” Johnson said the information being unfurled is needless.

“The damage …being done to our country during this entire impeachment process… those individuals who leaked this… have exposed things that didn’t need to be exposed,” he declared.d

"If the whistleblower's goal is to improve our relationship with Ukraine, he utterly — or she — utterly failed,” he added.

He also said he sympathized with President Donald Trump.

“He has been tormented from the day after his election,” Johnson said.
