Thune: Lawmakers Will Vote Tuesday on Bill to Avert Shutdown

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., told reporters on Monday that lawmakers in his chamber will vote on Tuesday on a bill meant to avert a government shutdown.

The Senate on Sept. 19 rejected a House-passed funding bill.
