Earlier this week, Vice President Joe Biden appeared on "Good Morning America" and said he would have made the best president, had he decided to run.
Rasmussen Reports set out to find out what Americans thought about that assertion.
The answer from voters: not so much.
In a telephone survey conducted after Biden's comments, Rasmussen Reports found that only 21 percent of 1,000 "Likely U.S. Voters" agree that he would have made the best president. Meanwhile, 56 percent disagreed, with the rest undecided.
Further, Rasmussen reported that only 26 percent of voters in his own party agree (45 percent disagreed) with Biden.
The segment that most agreed Biden would have been the best president is black voters at 34 percent.
