Sen. Flake to Trump: Dems Not Intent on 'Having People and Drugs Pour Into' US

Sen. Jeff Flake took to Twitter on Friday to respond to a tweet from President Donald Trump claiming Democrats want to have "people and drugs pour into our country."

The Arizona Republican was responding to a Thursday tweet from the president.

Flake, who is retiring at the end of his term, also criticized Trump's derrogatory remarks he made about Haiti, El Salvador and African countries during an immigration meeting Thursday at the White House. 

The words used by the President, as related to me directly following the meeting by those in attendance, were not “tough,” they were abhorrent and repulsive.
