Ivanka Trump has returned to the White House after a test revealed that President Donald Trump’s daughter and senior adviser does not have the coronavirus COVID-19, CNN reports.
Ivanka Trump started working from home after coming in close contact with Australia home affairs minister Peter Dutton, who later tested positive for the coronavirus. Dutton also met with Attorney General William Barr, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, and another senior aide.
"Over the last week, adviser to the President Ivanka Trump has followed social distancing best practices at her home. At the advisement of her doctors, due to lack of symptoms and consistently healthy physician checks, Adviser Trump will be working from the White House today," a White House official told CNN in a statement.
"As is done with every employee at the White House, she will undergo the same health/temperature checks to maintain the safety of herself, her children and those in the White House."
President Trump previously tested negative for COVID-19, the White House announced last Saturday.
Ivanka Trump was seen in the White House briefing room on Friday while the president addressed his administration’s coronavirus response. She will participate in a phone call with the president and small business owners later Friday afternoon.
