Ivanka Trump dodged a slew of coronavirus-related cancellations for campaign events, and will headline a fundraiser for her dad, President Donald Trump, in New York City next month, the Washington Examiner reported.
The April 1 gathering will also feature campaign manager Brad Parscale, senior campaign adviser Kimberly Guilfoyle, Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel, and RNC co-chair Tommy Hicks Jr., an invitation posted by the news outlet showed.
This week, similar events were canceled in Colorado, Nevada, and Wisconsin due to the coronavirus outbreak. A three-day "Women for Trump" bus tour with the president's daughter-in-law Lara Trump and other senior campaign surrogates was also suspended, the news outlet reported.
Ivanka Trump's attendance at the New York City event comes in a two-day stump stretch that includes lunch events in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Naples, Florida, the news outlet reported.
The first daughter and Trump adviser claimed in an interview with The New York Times that she could outraise former Vice President Joe Biden, recounting an event where she raised $2 million in one 45-minute sitting.
