Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee says he's ready to go to bat for Donald Trump at the upcoming Republican National Convention and will introduce the presumptive GOP presidential candidate if he's asked.

Speaking on Fox News Radio's "Kilmeade & Friends" program on Monday, Huckabee said: "I'd be glad to do it. I'd be honored to."

Huckabee, who dropped out of the race for the GOP nomination earlier this year, added that Trump has "mentioned to me about that" possibility.

His open offer to introduce Trump comes amid a growing group of establishment Republicans who say they will likely skip the event.
