Donald Trump is revealing plans to spice up the Republican National Convention with a taste of Hollywood.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee told
The Hollywood Reporter that super-agent Ari Emanuel has offered to put together a film celebrating Trump's anticipated victory at the convention.
Emanuel's brother, Rahm Emanuel is the mayor of Chicago, and was once President Obama's chief of staff. Still, Trump reveals Ari has offered to oversee the convention film.
"He's a very good friend of mine," says Trump. "He calls me a lot. I call him a lot and we talk. He's very political. Even though he's not political, he's political. He gets it. But yeah, I might do something with Ari."
Ironically, Ari is a top Democratic Party donor, who bundled between $200,000 and $500,000 for President Obama's first presidential campaign, according to
London's Daily Mail newspaper.
The newspaper also reported that Emanuel is the basis for the Ari Gold character in HBO's "Entourage" series and that Trump had sold the Miss Universe pageant to Emanuel's WME/IMG talent agency for $49 million.
