Hillary Clinton ripped Donald Trump Monday for his four business bankruptcies, including his failed casinos.

"What little we know of his economic policies would be running up our debt, starting trade wars, letting Wall Street run wild, all of that could cause another crash and devastate working families and our country," Clinton told the annual convention of the Service Employees International Union in Detroit, Politico reports. "Trump economics is a recipe for lower wages, fewer jobs, more debt.

"He could bankrupt America like he's bankrupted his companies," the Democratic front-runner added. "I mean, ask yourself, how can anybody lose money running a casino? Really. "

Referencing the presumptive Republican nominee's comments in November on "Morning Joe" on MSNBC, Clinton discussed how Trump's platform could affect "real people."

"He’s talking about sending a deportation force to schools, workplaces and homes to round up moms, dads, grandparents, even children," she told the crowd at Cobo Hall in the city. "When he talks about ending birthright citizenship, he’s talking about kicking children who are born here out of the only country they know."

Clinton also praised challenger Bernie Sanders for his campaign — but said that she would unite the Democrats "and stop Donald Trump," Politico reports.

"We need a president who will use the bully pulpit to stand up for working families, but the last thing we need is a bully in the pulpit," she said. "And nobody knows better than a union like SEIU that the only way to stand up to a bully is to stand up together."

Ed Brookover, a Trump senior adviser, later credited the developer for creating jobs while attacking Clinton's record on regulation and taxes.

"Mrs. Clinton has a lot to learn about how American businesses work," he told Jake Tapper on CNN. "She overregulates, she overtaxes, she overpromises and doesn’t deliver.

"Mr. Trump has a long history of creating jobs, of creating wealth in this country — and if Mr. Trump gets to the White House, he’ll be able to take that business expertise and apply it to America."
