Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been on the road promoting his new book — but it's not stopping him from weighing in on the perils of a President Hillary Clinton.
"This is about choices. You have [Donald] Trump versus Hillary Clinton," the Lone Star State Republican said as he took a break from signing copies of
"Broken But Unbowed: The Fight to Fix a Broken America" in Abilene, KTXS reports.
"I don't know Donald Trump, but what I do know is the danger Hillary Clinton poses to the future of America."
Abbott also addressed the controversial issue of transgender students and the bathrooms they can use.
He tore into President Barack Obama's directive for schools to allow those pupils to use bathrooms matching their gender identity as unconstitutional,
KTXS reports.
"Congress voted on this issues, rejected the issue. And then after that, the president tries to write the laws of the nation by dictating bathroom policies," Abbott said.
