Conservatives "don't really have a home right now" because neither the Republican Party nor presumptive nominee Donald Trump is "courting us," conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck said Wednesday.
"He doesn't want us," Beck, who founded The Blaze in 2011, told
Anderson Cooper on CNN. "The GOP has made it very, very clear — and Donald Trump — that they're not interested in the conservative.
"The conservatives don't really have a home right now," he added. "It's a very interesting place to be.
"They're not courting us. Donald Trump has said he's not interested in a lot of the conservatives — and he doesn't want all of the people to unite with him."
Beck, 52, who had endorsed Ted Cruz before he dropped out of the race last week,
predicted on his syndicated show Wednesday that "Donald Trump is going to be the next president of the United States."
He added that the developer was "leaning out, reaching out more to the Democrats than he is to the traditional conservative — and I'm fine with that.
"He doesn't want us. He doesn't need us. That's fine.
"We will find our own home," Beck said. "Find our own way."
When Cooper asked what he would do on Election Day, Nov. 8, the radio host responded: "I'll vote, but even if I write somebody in.
"I'm not going to pull a lever just because it is the lesser of two evils, because at some point they're both just evil," Beck added. "No thanks."
