Hillary Clinton's email scandal is being made into a series of movies, and the latest is based on Clinton adviser Huma Abedin's testimony, the Washington Examiner reports.

The actual depositions were filmed, but have not been released to the public. Each video presents real quotes from the depositions, presented by a cast of actors.

Filmmaker Phelim McAleer announced the project in June.

He said that Abedin's testimony shows her going through a range of emotions. "It's compelling viewing — as she is in turn petulant, defiant and then apologetic," McAleer said, the Examiner reports.

McAleer is seeking donations to make the films on Indiegogo, a fundraising website that allows viewers to donate money to help filmmakers produce movies. So far, the films have brought in over $50,000.

In addition to the reenactment of Abedin's testimony, McAleer has also posted reenactments of testimony by former Clinton aides Bryan Pagliano, Stephen Mull, and Cheryl Mills.

McAleer said that the Mills deposition is "full of classic Clintonian evasions."

Mills filed a motion in May to block the release of audio or video of her deposition. Her claim is that any recording could be distorted and used to advance conservatives' anti-Clinton agenda, Politico reported.

On the Indiegogo page, McAleer cited what he believes is the importance of making the videos. "By supporting this project, you're making a statement: Truth is more important than politics," he said.
