President Donald Trump on Wednesday slammed The New York Times for its report about the crowd size at a Tuesday rally in Nashville.
"The failing and corrupt New York Times estimated the crowd last night at '1,000 people,' when in fact it was many times that number," Trump tweeted.
"He worked his audience of about 1,000 into a frenzy," by referencing the term "animals" that the president used to describe MS-13 gang members, The Times reported about the Nashville event.
