House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a more favorable rating, albeit slightly, than President Donald Trump among voters in Georgia.
Key results in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution survey:
- Pelosi has a 38.7 percent favorable rating and a 47.6 unfavorable rating.
- Trump has a 37.4 percent favorable rating and a 55.6 unfavorable rating.
- Democrats assigned Pelosi a 70 percent favorable rating, while just 4.2 percent of Republicans did so. 87.4 percent of Republicans have an unfavorable opinion of her.
Just 1.3 percent of Democrats have a favorable opinion of Trump, compared to 86.2 percent of Republicans.
Trump and Pelosi are deadlocked as the government shutdown enters its fifth week. Pelosi has vowed not to approve any funding for a border wall between the United States and Mexico, a point of contention between them.
