President Donald Trump took to Twitter to tout his impact on Sen. Luther Strange's spike in the Alabama polls ahead of Tuesday's primary runoff.
Which spike Trump is referencing is unclear; Strange's challenger, former state judge Roy Moore, has led —and continues to lead — by a wide margin in the polls for months.
Moore's composite lead in the polls has jumped from 8 points last week to 10 points on Monday to 11 on Tuesday, according to RealClearPolitics.
The winner of Tuesday's runoff will face Democratic contender Doug Jones in December to replace the seat vacated by Jeff Sessions.
