A new Arizona poll shows Donald Trump holds a 5-point lead over Hillary Clinton in the presidential race.

The CNN/ORC battleground state poll results show Trump with 43 percent support among registered voters, with Clinton garnering 38 percent support.

Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson is favored by 12 percent of voters in the state. The Green Party's Jill Stein is further back with 4 percent support.

Other key findings from the poll:

  • Trump leads Clinton among independents, 41 percent to 27 percent.
  • Trump is up 5 points among men and 4 points among women.
  • Trump is 6 points ahead of Clinton on the issue of immigration and is up 3 points on the issue of healthcare.
  • Trump is the most trustworthy candidate among the Arizona voters polled, holding a 49 percent to 33 percent edge over Clinton in that category.

The results of another poll that came out Wednesday showed Trump is up 2 points in Florida, while a Reuters poll gave Clinton the edge in three key swing states: Florida, Ohio, and Virginia.
