The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $11.2 million last month, bringing their total for this election cycle up to nearly $151 million, Roll Call reports.
Almost $3.1 million came from online donations at an average of $16 per donation. By this point in 2016, the DCCC had raised almost $101 million, and last April, the group raised $8.5 million.
“The DCCC’s historic grassroots fundraising combined with incredible candidate fundraising will ensure that Democratic candidates have the resources to share their records of service with the voters who will determine control of the House,” DCCC Chairman Rep. Ben Ray Luján, D-N.M., said in a statement.
Luján added that outside groups aligned with the Republican Party will likely outspend the DCCC in the midterm elections this November.
