Actor Robert De Niro urged a Hollywood audience to choose Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during a speech at a movie award ceremony.

Deadline reported that the "Raging Bull" and "Meet the Parents" actor said, "The shadow of politics is hanging over us more than anything else and it’s hard to think of anything else. We have the opportunity to prevent Tuesday from turning into a tragedy. So vote for Hillary Clinton."

The actor has made his Democratic preference clear before. He appeared in a video in which he said he would like to punch Trump in the face. In the same video, he slammed actor Jon Voight, a Trump supporter, saying, "Voight is a nice guy, but he’s delusional."

Fellow celebrities whom he assumes are Trump supporters have also been targets of De Niro. He refused a photo with "Terminator" actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, former 2-time Republican governor of California.

However, Schwarzenegger said he was not voting for Trump in a tweet.

The audience applauded De Niro after he left the stage of the Hollywood Film Awards. The ceremony’s host James Corden joked that the awards were similar to the Trump campaign, “except these awards really are rigged.”

Politics came up again at the awards later, Deadline reported. Corden, the host of CBS’ "The Late Late Show," polled the audience later, asking who in the crowd supports Trump. One member of the audience shouted "Who cares?" to which Corden replied, "You look like someone who’d be voting for Donald Trump."
