Poll: Dem Davis Has Slight Edge Over GOP's Watkins in Kansas House Race

Forty-one percent of voters in Kansas’ 2nd Congressional District favor Democrat Paul Davis, compared to 37 percent who back the GOP’s Steve Watkins, according to a New York Times/Siena College Poll.

The gap between the two candidates falls within the poll’s 4.8 percent margin of error. In addition, 15 percent of the voters say they are still undecided.

The poll, conducted Oct. 27-30 surveyed 501 people in the district.
