Sen. Cory Booker believes President Donald Trump and former vice president Joe Biden — who made noise this week about beating each other up — should settle their differences by hurling snowballs at each other.

"I think they should look to [Sen. Jeff] Flake and I as a way to settle this and maybe get out there before the snow melts," Booker, a New Jersey Democrat, told TMZ.

Booker and Flake, an Arizona Republican, recently staged a friendly snowball fight on Capitol Hill, with both men furiously beaning each other with hastily made snowballs.

"This was not Hamilton-Burr, this was not the 'Thrilla in Manila.' But this was a great contest between a Jersey guy and a really honorable man on the other side of the aisle," Booker said of his skirmish with Flake on a patch of frozen tundra.

On Tuesday, Biden said if he was in high school, he would "beat the hell" out of  Trump for disrespecting women. Trump shot back in a tweet that Biden "would go down fast and hard" and "crying" if the two ever mixed it up.

In a video of the Booker-Flake fight, Flake appeared to get the best of his opponent, with Booker taking a hit in the ribs with at least one snowball and rolling onto the ground to avoid others.

"I want a rematch," Booker told TMZ. "But the snow. It’s spring now."

The fights Booker referred to were the 1804 duel in which Arron Burr, the sitting vice president of the United States, shot dead Alexander Hamilton, a Founding Father and the former secretary of the treasury, and the 1975 boxing match in which Muhammad Ali beat Joe Frazier.

A Trump-Biden matchup likely would have odds makers in a frenzy. Biden is 75, stands 6-feet-tall and weighs 215 pounds, while Trump, 71, is 6-feet-3 and weighs 239 pounds.
