Donald Trump’s "disregard and disrespect" is "unacceptable" and have Republican senators "outraged," Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., said Sunday on The Cats Roundtable radio program.
"This is one of those elections that can’t be about party," Booker told host John Catsimatidis. "It’s got to be about patriotism. It’s got to be about what’s best for this country.
"My Republican senate colleagues … are outraged about the kind of things that are coming out of Donald Trump’s mouth about the disregard and disrespect he shows to so many categories of Americans."
Booker also told the radio program he fears what Trump might do in the White House "where it could have consequences of life or death, war or peace?"
"I’m proud there are so many Republicans nationally coming out against Donald Trump’s candidacy," Booker said about his fellow senators from the opposing party.
