Carly Fiorina has been long out of the race for the GOP presidential nomination, but the former Hewlett Packard CEO is still taking jabs at Hillary Clinton.
At fundraiser for Chris Vance, who is challenging incumbent Democratic Sen. Patty Murray of Washington, Fiorina ripped Clinton as a person "willing to do anything" for her political ambitions.
"This is a woman who, far from being a trailblazer in her own right, has actually traded on her husband's name and fame and charisma and position her whole life," Fiorina told Vance's supporters,
The Seattle Times reports.
"She has been willing to do anything, say anything, sacrifice everything at the altar of her ambition. She just wants another punch at the ticket just like Patty Murray wants to be sent back to Washington, D.C."
Fiorina said Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, and Murray, who is seeking her fifth term on Capitol Hill, are examples of a "professional political class" which cares "more about its privilege and position than on getting anything done."
