Canada Rejects Trump's Threats of Economic Force

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly on Tuesday protested in regard to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's comments about possibly using economic force against the country.

"President-elect Trump's comments show a complete lack of understanding of what makes Canada a strong country … We will never back down in the face of threats," she said in a post on social media network X.
