Boston area police are searching for a woman caught on night surveillance video stealing a Donald Trump campaign sign off a residence in Marblehead, Mass, which was "the seventh theft/vandalism of a political campaign sign from" the home,
according to the Marblehead Police Department Facebook page.
"Regardless of political affiliations, trespassing on private property and the taking of something that doesn't belong to you (which under MA law is considered Larceny) can land a person in court with hefty fines, the possibility of jail time and a criminal record," the post stated.
The incident occurred a night after a woman in North Reading, a community about 20 miles away, pleaded not guilty to charges that she destroyed a Trump campaign sign and "nearly ran over the sign’s owner as she sped away,"
The Boston Globe reported Tuesday.
Republican president nominee Donald Trump is facing the first female challenge for the White House in Democrat Hillary Clinton. Trump has had some
infamous run-ins on women's issues, causing women to speak out against him, including some in his GOP.
Trump has said he might enlist his own daughter, Ivanka Trump, as a
potential presidential cabinet member to advocate for women.
She called her father
"incredibly level-headed" amid the attacks he receives from his critics, which include the media.
