Lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle are weighing in on President Donald Trump's executive order that ended the practice of separating children from adults who illegally enter the United States.
Republicans are generally siding with Trump, while Democrats are largely opposed to the order — saying more needs to be done to prevent illegal aliens who are captured crossing into the U.S. from being detained for weeks with their children.
