Joe Biden beats President Donald Trump by nine points in a head-to-head ballot test, according to a Fox News poll.

The telephone survey, conducted March 21-24, showed the former vice president ahead 49% over Trump’s 40%. Another 11% would vote for someone else or are undecided.  Last month, Biden was ahead by 49-41 percent.

Biden maintains his advantage among voters extremely interested in the election, beating Trump 52% to 43%, and holds a 48% to 40% edge in battleground states, the Fox News poll showed.

Biden’s advantage grows to 25 points, 57% to 32%, in counties where Hillary Clinton and Trump were within 10 points in 2016.

The Fox News poll has a margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Meanwhile, a Washington Post-ABC News poll released Sunday showed Biden ahead 49% to Trump's 47%. When the poll measures preferences among all adults, Biden stands at 50% and Trump at 44%.

Among registered voters who support Trump, 55% say they're very enthusiastic about backing him while 32% say they are somewhat enthusiastic. Among Biden’s supporters, 28% say they're very enthusiastic while 46% are somewhat enthusiastic.

The Post-ABC News poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
