More than 9 in 10 likely voters across the country are "extremely motivated to vote," and roughly the same number of likely voters from six battleground states said the same.
Key results in the Change Research/CNBC Poll:
- 91% of likely voters said they are "extremely motivated to vote."
- 92% of likely voters in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin said they are "extremely motivated to vote."
- 95% of people who have already voted were "extremely motivated" to cast their ballot.
- 53% of voters who support Democrat Joe Biden have already voted, compared to 25% of President Donald Trump's supporters.
- 93% of Biden supporters in battleground states are "extremely motivated" to vote, compared to 94% of Trump supporters in those states.
- Biden has a 49% favorability rating among national likely voters, compared to Trump's 41% favorability rating.
- Biden leads Trump among national likely voters, 52% to 42%.
- Biden leads in each of these six battleground states: Arizona (51% to 45%), Florida (50% to 45%), Michigan (51% to 44%), North Carolina (50% to 47%), Pennsylvania (49% to 47%), and Wisconsin (52% to 44%).
The poll was conducted from Oct. 16-19 among 2,949 likely voters in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. A comparison poll was conducted from Oct. 17-18 among 2,711 likely national voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 1.8% for the battleground states poll and 1.88% for the national poll.
