Republican donors are taking aim at Hispanic voters as they spend big money to attack Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton down the stretch of the presidential race.

Future 45, a super PAC funded by some of the biggest names in politics, according to CNN, is spending $1.5 million on Spanish-language TV ads attacking Clinton on her stance against immigration.

The ads, which started airing Tuesday, use old statements made by Clinton about illegal immigration. One ad, titled "Hillary Says," quotes Clinton saying "What are we going to do with illegal immigrants?" and, "I am adamantly against illegal immigrants."

Future 45 got a big boost in funding Monday when Las Vegas billionaire Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam announced they had donated $25 million to the group.

The statements are a far cry from comments made by Clinton during this campaign cycle.

"I am 100 percent behind comprehensive immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship," she said July 7 during her first nationally televised interview of her campaign. Trump has said he would enforce our immigration laws at the border and the workplace.

"Build a border wall and end sanctuary cities," he said Sept. 16. "Send criminal aliens home. Welcome those who embrace our way of life, but keep out immigrants and refugees who don't through rigorous vetting."
