The fast-spreading Wuhan virus will likely infect far more people globally than initially expected, and could exceed 200,000 victims by next week according to a panel of epidemiologists and doctors.
In recent days, researchers working independently at Britain’s Lancaster University, the Imperial College London, and the University of Hong Kong have released models showing the disease could infect up to 30 times more victims than initially projected.
