Changing Demographics Flipping Swing States Blue

Swing states are not only crucial in this presidential election but are likely to affect national politics for years to come and that could be bad news for the republican party as demographic changes, especially a burgeoning Latino population, are turning many of those states blue.

Experts say that by 2045, the U.S. will become a majority minority. Some swing states, like Nevada, are already there. Population projections show that young voters under 30 will be a non-white majority in less than a decade. And political consultants say the next generation of voters is more likely to register Democrat than Republican.
