NYC's Shady Street Vendors 'Finance and Promote Terror'

Tourists who visit New York City and buy counterfeit merchandise offered by shady street vendors are unwittingly supporting international terrorism and drug trafficking, law enforcement officials say.

The illicit goods hawked along city sidewalks include copies of Gucci, Prada, and Louis Vuitton handbags, Rolex watches, and other luxury brands — and go for a fraction of what the real thing would cost in legitimate stores.
