(Newsmax TV's "Newsmax Now")

Voters will likely "move on" past the racially fueled controversy swirling around Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Miss., and re-elect her Tuesday, according to political commentator Jeffrey Lord.

In remarks on Newsmax TV's "Newsmax Now" on the eve of the runoff election, Lord, who has served as an aide to former presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush, said "for better or worse," we live in an "information age."
