Country music legend Ricky Skaggs says Miley Cyrus's raunchy performance on the MTV Video Music Awards shows she’s "crying out for attention."
"She’s just a lost little girl," Skaggs, a 14-time Grammy winner, told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newmax TV.
"She is crying out for attention in the wrong places."

Cyrus, a former Disney star, stunned the world last Sunday with her sexually charged gyrations to "We Can’t Stop," during which she stripped down to a skimpy, two-piece outfit.
She then made obscene gestures towards the midsection of singer Robin Thicke with a giant foam figure.
Skaggs, who has known Cyrus’ country-star dad Billy Ray Cyrus for years, said he feels for him.
"I can’t imagine that he’s proud of that," Skaggs said.
"Something like that — that’s just hard to figure out."
