Charles Hurt: Obama Wrong to Send Troops to Liberia

President Barack Obama's dispatch of 3,000 troops to help battle the spread of the deadly Ebola virus in Africa is wrong, according to Charles Hurt, a columnist for The Washington Times.

"He's going to take the men and women who have signed up and vowed to lay down their life to protect us and protect our country and send them into the hot zone in Liberia," Hurt said Wednesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"What has happened to this country? What has this man done? I can't even begin to comprehend how he arrives at this thought process. 

"What are they going to do to combat a virus? Are they going to shoot at it? Are they going to stick it with Band-Aids? Are they going to drop smart bombs on it? I don't know what they are going to do."
