The United Kingdom was slow to join the US in the fight against the Islamic State because it was preoccupied with Scotland's vote on independence, says Tom Rogan, a columnist for the Daily Telegraph of London and National Review.
"The Scottish referendum [was] their primary concern," Rogan told Joe Concha, guest host of "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.
"So what they've been doing is waiting for the Scottish referendum to complete."

Voters in Scotland ultimately decided to remain a part of the United Kingdom.
